Tell us about yourself.
I received my B.S. and Ph.D from the University of Pittsburgh in 2011 where I studied the impact of pregnancy, maternal birth injury, and mesh implantation on vaginal biomechanics. Afterwards, I became a Marie Curie Postdoc in the Department of Development and Regeneration at the KULeuven in Belgium. I then did a second post doc at the Georgia Institute of Technology, on a NASA funded project, to understand how ocular pressures and choroidal swelling impacts eye deformation.
